Big ocean moments: What to expect in 2022

After an almost two-year delay, the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development is officially in full swing. Although 2021 was supposed to be an “ocean super year,” 2022 could be a turning point for a Treaty for the Seas, the ocean-climate nexus, and establishing a sustainable blue economy that feeds into—and strengthens—the wider global sustainability agenda.
