Why COP26 is our best opportunity to strengthen the ocean's role in fighting climate change

The hope of the global community working to reverse the ongoing decline in the ocean’s health is that the ocean’s critical contributions to climate change mitigation and adaptation will be integral to COP26 considerations in Glasgow this November; and that the conference’s outcomes will include greatly enhanced commitments and resources to meet the challenges presented by the ocean-climate nexus.
