INVESTABLE OCEANS

Welcome to our February Newsletter.

The world continues to grapple with a multitude of cross currents. And while the heavy weight of the global pandemic and social justice issues persist, there are real green (and blue) shoots sprouting from nations around the globe. There’s a palpable feeling of energy and optimism to tackle climate issues of all types, and fortunately there’s an increasing awareness that the oceans play a vital role in finding solutions for those issues.

We are evolving at Investable Oceans as well, and continue to be thankful for the help and support of so many of you. We recently had our first “Gathering”, a biweekly feature we introduced to get our offerors in front of Accredited Investor audiences. In upcoming Gatherings we’ll be featuring aquaculture, bluetech, plastics and some additional big ideas. A reminder, to attend you need to register here if you are not yet a member of Investable Oceans.

Our platform content has also expanded. With this newsletter we’re introducing our second Zone that focuses on plastics, a particularly hot topic. Check out our Plastics 101 piece here, and visit the Plastics Zone for a curated selection of articles, research and offerings. More broadly, the site now has over two dozen investment offerings, 300+ Quick Dips (ten minute or less reading time), 100 Deep Dives (research reports), 40 great ocean books, 20+ Artivists and over a dozen ocean films. We believe this diversity of learning options is a vital component of the comprehensive investment environment that we offer to our network.

Thank you again for your interest, and please let us know if there are ways we can support your ocean initiatives.
